Free Food in NYC!

Hey, you got a gig in New York City? Damn, NYC is expensive. But it doesn?t have to be. There are cheap places eat to and grab a beer (or two). You gotta check out Crocodile Bar on 14th Street. For every drink you buy you get a free personal pizza. And, no, it’s not some frozen job. It’s honest to goodness real pizza made in a pizza oven at the back of the bar. You can watch them make it. And it’s awesome! Drink prices are reasonable as well. Happy Hour is from noon to 7 pm and they’ve got $3 Yuengling drafts, $4 well drinks and $1 off all drafts. There’s also a back patio and skeeball. You can’t go wrong!

In Nolita head to Spring Lounge where every Wednesday they got free hot dogs battered in beer. Mmmm, beer! They even change the kind of beer each week. Awesome! And if you’re hung over after too much partying on Saturday night, Spring Lounge serves bagels at the bar for free money from 12 pm on.

If you’re in the East Village get thee to Burp Castle! Enjoy free pommes frites on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights. These ain’t your typical ho-hum fries either. They be authentic Belgian-style potato treats! They start serving at 6 pm. Don’t be late!!

Okay, this place doesn’t have free food but the 10 cent chicken wings at Croxley’s Ale House will definitely NOT break the bank. The wings are tasty, the beer list is awesomely extensive and the people who work there are most friendly indeed!
