If you are on the road, what more could you want to keep you entertained than the British X Factor. This year has seen new judges as Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole joined the US version of the show.
There has been a lot of controversy this year from contestants to judging and this week’s episode was no different. One of the favourites to win this year is Manchester born Misha B. The 19 year old singer has one of the strongest voices in the competition this year and never fails to impress in the live shows.
There seemed to be a lot of tension between the judges in this week’s ‘Rock n Roll’ challenge. Tulisa, member of the band N-Dubz, gave her all female group the Rhythmix Kesha’s song Tik Tok. Some of the judges, including Kelly Rowland and Take That member Gary Barlow got into a heated debate with Tulisa as the song should not really be classed as a rock song.
From there things went from bad to worse and at the end of Misha B’s fantastic performance of Prince’s Purple Rain, things deteriorated. Tulisa accused Misha of bullying other contestants and Louis Walsh joined in on the discussion. Infuriating Kelly and Gary, they fought back at the other two judges and said anything going on behind the scenes should be dealt with away from the cameras and the only comments that should be being made are to do with the contestants performances.
Since this argument happened on the live show the press has been filled with apologies, statements and discussions from the judges, contestants and the general public, not to mention the newspapers and gossip columns that have gone wild over the debacle.
So, for some real life entertainment whilst you are on the road, tune in to X Factor UK and watch the rise and fall of tomorrow’s stars…and watch the judges bicker away!
